Sharper K‑1 accuracy, clearer document statuses, sturdier CCH flows Period: 2026-03-09 - 2026-03-15
  1. ProConnect K‑1 schemas expanded and corrected: We aligned Partnership, S‑Corp, and Estate/Trust K‑1 screens with ProConnect’s UI—adding missing Line 16/17 and 199A/K‑3 fields and removing non‑existent entries—to boost data‑entry accuracy and cut validation loops. Expect fewer manual tweaks and better coverage for basis, AMT, and international details.
  2. Drake K‑1 mapping and basis reliability: We remapped K‑1 fields across tabs to Drake’s ground truth and fixed basis/at‑risk worksheet behaviors and AMT keys for more dependable automation. This reduces wrong‑field entries and dropdown mis‑selections that lead to rework.
  3. Drake Form 8889 (HSA) corrections: Thirteen field mappings and input types were corrected so HSA amounts (like Qualified Medical Expenses) land on the right lines and calculate properly. This prevents silent failures and line misplacements during data entry.
  4. CCH duplicate entries prevention: We now prevent duplicate direct‑deposit bank rows when source docs include abbreviated account numbers, and we stop duplicate Form 1116 creation when a 1099‑DIV includes foreign tax. These safeguards reduce cleanup and ensure accurate state and foreign tax reporting.
  5. Live document processing statuses in Client Files: You’ll now see spinners while documents are being parsed and clear “Unable to process” warnings on failures, eliminating guesswork. Backend status tracking also detects silent extraction failures and prevents endless “processing” states.
  6. Clear handling for unsupported CCH return types: Non‑individual CCH returns are automatically paused with an “Unsupported return type” message and a direct contact‑support button, and they’re filtered out of the Urgent queue. This keeps your triage focused on work that can move forward.
Thank you for your continued feedback and for trusting us with your busy season.
