  1. New form support: Added support for Form 1099-DA, improving coverage for digital asset dispositions so your returns capture these transactions accurately.
  2. ProConnect workflow upgrades: Unified ProConnect data entry with our other tax software flows for more predictable, resilient automations, and updated full return PDF generation paths for consistent outputs. When data entry is complete, the Output tab now shows a ProConnect Tax Hub shortcut for one-click access.
  3. Drake & UltraTax backups: Improved backup detection and display with structured naming and source identification, plus support for .zip backups from the desktop app so restores are more reliable. Output pages now render tax software backup files correctly, and the UI accepts additional ZIP MIME types to reduce upload friction.
  4. UltraTax manual entry completion: You can now mark manual data entry as complete for UltraTax directly from the upload menu, with guardrails that ensure a file is attached before completion. This streamlines hand-keyed workflows and immediately advances the preparation process.
  5. Credits and cost transparency: Introduced a 0.5 credit “Simple” tier and updated balances to show dedicated vs. shared credits separately for clearer billing. Slack notifications now include an initial credit estimate with cost and confidence so teams can gauge effort earlier.
  6. Easier credit purchases: Added Stripe Payment Link checkout to buy credits in seconds, reducing procurement overhead. Workspaces automatically upgrade from trial to auto mode upon purchase so your team can keep moving without interruptions.
